The Process
By conducting extensive research, including interviews and participatory observations with elderly individuals, we explored the relationship between seniors and art and culture.

Discovering pain points through on-field research
Fast-paced group tours
Limited flexibility and insufficient time to absorb information
Inability to ask many questions due to time constraints
Inefficient QR code systems
Require WiFi, a smartphone, and proximity to scan, which is challenging in crowded areas.
The digital content provided may lack depth or quality.
Physical discomfort
QR codes are often small and inconveniently placed
Having to bend to scan floor-placed QR codes, especially while holding items like stools.
Opportunity

Features included personalized navigation routes, options to engage with AI-powered guides, and digital booklets to continue learning from home.
The initiative aimed to create an inclusive museum experience, fostering lifelong learning opportunities for elderly individuals.
Beyond improving accessibility and engagement for seniors, the project’s future vision extends to offering museum experiences to individuals unable to visit in person. By blending technology with thoughtful design, the team crafted a solution that fosters well-being, promotes education, and deepens connections to art and culture.
